Tasks & Responsibilities: 

    • Participation in the development of new products from prototype to series production in the field of RFID systems.
    • Hardware development incl. design and layout of printed circuit boards using ECAD tools.
    • Design and implementation of analog circuit parts, microprocessor and interface circuits, power supplies and high-frequency circuits.
    • Creating EMC-compliant printed circuit board layouts.
    • Carrying out functional tests and development-supporting measurements such as EMC measurements.
    • Close cooperation with mechanical design and software/firmware developers in project teams.
    • Interdisciplinary and international collaboration with other departments like manufacturing engineering, product management, procurement, and our production.

Skills & Experience:

    • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable education.
    • Sound knowledge of hardware development (10+ years).
    • Proficiency in using ECAD tools including, but not limited to Altium Designer.
    • In addition to good knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, you have a solid understanding of measurement technology and troubleshooting, as well as excellent knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility.
    • Proficient in RF technologies, especially RFID/NFC, but also BLE and Wi-Fi.
    • Experience with interface technologies like I²C, SPI, RS485, USB, and Ethernet.  
    • Experience with certifications and standards, ideally CE (RED, EMC, LVD), FCC, UL.
    • You speak English fluently. German is nice to have.
