Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Design and implementation of analog circuit parts, microprocessor and interface circuits, power supplies and simple high-frequency circuits for security applications, especially in the environment of RFID systems.
  • Hardware development, controlling the layout of printed circuit boards using ECAD tools such as Altium Designer.
  • Creating EMC-compliant printed circuit board layouts.
  • Participation in the development of new products from prototype to series production in the field of RFID systems.
  • Carrying out functional tests and development-supporting measurements such as EMC measurements.
  • Close cooperation with mechanical design and software/firmware developers in project teams.
  • Interdisciplinary and international collaboration with other departments like manufacturing engineering, product management, procurement, and our production.

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable education.
  • Sound knowledge of hardware development.
  • Proficiency in using ECAD tools, ideally Altium Designer.
  • In addition to good knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, you have a solid understanding of measurement technology and troubleshooting, as well as basic knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility.
  • Good knowledge in working with microcontrollers, ideally programming skills.
  • Basic knowledge of interfaces (I²C, SPI, RS485, USB, Ethernet), ideally also in technologies such as BLE, 868, RFID (Mifare/Legic).
    • A plus would be: Experience with certifications and standards, ideally CE (RED, EMC, LVD), FCC, UL.
