Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Define the product UX and UI approach: You will be instrumental in defining the overall user experience and user interface design strategy for our B2B Products. This includes understanding the target audience, identifying user requirements, and creating a design plan to meet those needs.
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements: Collaborating with product managers, project managers, and architects, you will gather user requirements and conduct user research to gain insights into user behaviors and preferences.
  • Illustrate design ideas: Utilizing tools such as storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps, you will visually communicate design ideas and user journeys to help inform the development team.
  • Design graphic user interface: You will be responsible for creating visually engaging and user-friendly graphic user interfaces that align with our brand and product identity.
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes: Using wireframe and design software like Wireframe.cc, InVision, Figma, and Adobe Illustrator, you will craft interactive prototypes and mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and functionalities.
  • Present drafts to internal teams and stakeholders: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, present your design drafts, and gather feedback to iterate and improve the user experience.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems: Proactively identifying potential UX issues and resolving them is an essential aspect of your role. This includes ensuring the responsiveness and usability of our products across different devices and platforms.
  • Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback: You will continuously gather user feedback and insights to refine and enhance the user interface, making iterative improvements based on user needs and preferences.

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience: We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in UX AND UI design, backed by at least five years of professional experience.
  • Experience with building corporate software design of complicated use cases.
  • Portfolio of design projects: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing your design projects and process is essential to demonstrate your expertise and creativity.
  • Knowledge and experience of wireframe and design software: Proficiency in tools such as Wireframe.cc, InVision, Figma and Adobe Illustrator is required to effectively create and communicate design concepts.
  • Team player: Collaboration and teamwork are fundamental to our culture, and we seek individuals who can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German and English) are crucial in effectively presenting design ideas, gathering feedback, and collaborating with various external and internal stakeholders.
    • Good time-management skills: You should be capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines while delivering high-quality work.
    • Interest in working on complex topics such as managing user rights and optimizing those workflows.
